We spoke with Emma Skelton, Commercial Manager at Warwick Mill Business Village about their experience with FACTCO and how a full-fibre network has helped to improve their business:
What was your biggest issue before your installation?
The old network was showing signs of age and needed to be upgraded to enable us to grow. We also have remote buildings which we were struggling to keep connected the old network. The technicalteam were able to offer us a solution so we could provide our tenants and guest in those building wth a reliable connection. The phone system was also struggling on our old network, this was also highlighted at the beginning of lockdown when the businesses where connecting remotely.
How long was the installation process – did you have a good experience?
The network installation from starting the voucher process to the completed install took no longer than 4 weeks. The team guided us through every stage and were extremely knowledgeable.
What did you find was the best thing about using FACTCO?
The fact that the network installation was completely funded, saved the business so much money, meaning we can now invest elsewhere into the business. Initially It seemed that the like the scheme sounds too good to be true but FACTCO really understood how to manage the funding process and from a technical perspective they worked hard to keep everything simple.
What was your experience of the service over all?
FACTCO have delivered more than we expected, their technical support has been great to deal with and the connections have been fast and secure. Can’t ask for more really.
What was the end result for you – what are the main benefits of having fibre internet?
The speeds where instantly improved throughout the building, this has been a game changer for us. We can confidently appeal to a wider range of businesses and know that as business practices change, our premises have the facilities and structures to support that.
